Celebrating the Women Who Raised Us this Mother’s Day
Held in partnership with Women’s Health services and Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services, the day will provide a relaxed and welcoming space for women to come together, share a meal, connect with each other and access health and wellbeing information and support.
The event will include morning tea and lunch, activities for families, raffle prizes and opportunities for women and children to access health check-ups and wellbeing supports in a culturally safe environment.
At Marninwarntikura, Mother’s Day is an opportunity to recognise the strength, care and leadership of the women in our families and communities. It is also a chance to create spaces where women can slow down, yarn together and prioritise their own health and wellbeing.
