Bigswun Kid Project Gains Funding Boost
The Marulu team are working with researchers from Sydney University to revisit the families who particpated in the Lililwan Research and see how they are going now. This community led project known as the Bigiwun Kid Project seeks to understand more about the strengths and challenges facing the young people today, 10 years on from when we first connected, what are the needs of children, how can we support them and better meet the families changing needs ? These are the questions we are seeking to answer.
We have successfully secured some much needed funding to progress the Bigiswun Kid Project. We are going to create opportunites to respond to what we find and make sure the families are supported through different stages of these young people's lives. We will use the evidence to advocate for change.
