'Design Within Country' Fashion Project
This year’s collection was created at the remote community of Djugerari, 120kms east of Fitzroy Crossing on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. For three weeks ten local and three visiting designers camped out on country and took inspiration from the magnificent surroundings and light. The result is a range of bush dye, lino print and hand painted outfits and accessories that will form the basis of small social businesses for the local creators. We have been thrilled by the strength of this collaboration and are so proud to present the results.
